Spinnaker surf shop is a local family owned store established in 1988. It is located in the heart of Surf City, on Topsail Island, just off the coast of North Carolina, where the water is clear and warmed by the Gulf Stream, the sand is white and clean, and the waves are often knee-waist, glassy and easy to ride. The store is less than 100 yards from the ocean’s edge where surfers and swimmers are free to swim anywhere except under the fishing pier. As you cross over the swing bridge onto the island, you can see the Jolly Roger flag flying high above the store during hours of operation. When you’ve had enough sun on the beach just walk over the dune and chill in the shade of the Arcade at Spinnakers and enjoy pool tables, foos ball games, and a large video game selection.
